Breeding Rules
1. Please don't go overboard when you are at the Breeding Grounds. If you feel the 'urge' to go into detail, please put a warning in the thread title such as 'xXx' or 'Graphic'. It's better for everyone that way.
2. Wolves may only breed during the breeding season. Fall-Winter. It will be noted when the seasons change, when breeding starts, etc.
3. Yes, Force-breeding is allowed. PLEASE read the rules in the post below for details.
4. After mating, your wolf must be pregnant until spring. No whelping early, and no lost litters unless approved by a admin before hand.
5. There can be still-born pups and pups that die shortly after birth, it does happen. This is the mother's decision ultimately.
6. Cubs are a pack affair. The whole pack will be interested in the birth of new cubs, but not everyone can go into a birthing den. It is up it the mother and father who can enter the birthing den.
7. Cubs are considered adults at 3 years of age, and can breed at that time. It is rare for a younger female to care a litter to term before 3 yrs old.
NOTE: Matings do not have to be permenate. If one or both of the wolves in the pairing are unhappy, you may do to the Alpha or the Council of Alpha and ask for the mating/pairing to be disolved. (lol, kinda like divorce court)
Hope this helps out with some of our more active players that
A) don't like there mates now that they are with them,
-or-
B) have a mate that has been inactive for a long period of time...
